MiJoi Announces Strategic Partnership with the Minority Business Development Agency

MiJoi and Associates, Inc. is excited to announce a strategic business partnership with the MBDA Business Center of Washington, DC. Since 2004, the National Community Reinvestment Coalition has successfully operated this Minority Business Development Agency Business Center, which provides consulting services in business development, financing, and management to minority businesses in the Washington, DC Metro area, and throughout the United States. The MBDA Business Center continues to successfully utilize its staff, strategic partners, and network of small business advocates to assist its minority business clients to access contracting opportunities and financing. This year, the Center is on pace again to exceed its annual performance goals of assisting clients to create over 150 new jobs and obtain over $110M in financing and contract awards. 
MiJoi’s CEO, La Vida Mason, is very pleased with the new partnership. “This relationship advances our vision to reach and support newly established and small businesses in pursuit of Federal opportunities,” she stated. MiJoi will begin providing workshops on identifying, pursuing, and responding to Federal opportunities in November 2012 at the MBDA Business Center's office in Washington, DC.

MiJoi Offers NEW! Death Investigation Course

MiJoi is offering a 3-day course beginning fall 2012 that is designed for law enforcement professionals and military investigators tasked with death investigation. This course covers homicides, suicides, accidental deaths, natural deaths, overdose deaths, and child/infant deaths. Understanding the scene, body inspection, potential evidence, and other factors surrounding the death investigation are critical in determining a final cause and manner of death and finding a successful conclusion to each case. MiJoi Offers ITIL v3 Preparation Demo Training

In October, MiJoi will offer their first Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 Preparation Demo Course which provides the following:

ü Overview of the basics of ITIL and covers understanding the benefits of ITIL;
ü  Steps to achieving the ITIL Foundation certification;
ü  Service management and IT service delivery;
ü  Plan for incorporating continual improvement; and
ü  Plan for preparing for the individual certification in ITIL v3.

This class introduces concepts and terms while conveying the importance of ITIL. The instructor defines key concepts such as services, processes, and functions in a format that is easy to understand and apply. MiJoi Unveils Wounded Warrior Program

MiJoi unveiled it's Wounded Warriors Program and initiatives in August 2012 to recruit returning veterans extensively. "As a veteran, it is important for us to reach out to those who have sacrificed for our nation and provide jobs and programs that extend our appreciation," stated MiJoi's Executive Vice President for Law Enforcement and Security Services, E. A. Mason. MiJoi's policy ensures the preferential employment for Wounded Warriors, their spouses, and extends to other veteran's as well.
